HOW TO SOLVE EXERCISE REQUESTS OF RIGHTS IN ACCORDANCE WITH EU REGULATION 2016/679

Globe Monnaie S.R.L. receives, analyses and resolves requests relating to the processing of personal data covered by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data (GDPR).

GDPR gives data subjects the right to access personal information that Globe Monnaie S.R.L. holds. The purpose of such an access request is to enable data subjects to confirm the accuracy of the personal data and to verify the lawfulness of the processing in order to enable them, if necessary, to exercise their rights under the Regulation.

Globe Monnaie S.R.L. responds to all access requests within a maximum of 30 days and the information is normally provided free of charge.

Requests shall be made individually or by the data subject's representative. Where the applicant is a spouse or relative up to and including the second degree, a statutory declaration signed by the applicant shall be attached, and in the case of other persons, a power of attorney shall be attached.

The submitted requests shall be signed in holography or electronically, and in the case of electronically submitted requests that cannot be signed, the Data Protection Officer designated by Globe Monnaie S.R.L. may request confirmation of the accuracy of the electronically submitted data.

The following data of the applicant is mandatory for the receipt and valid registration of an application: first name, last name, postal address of domicile or residence. If the application is submitted electronically, the applicant's e-mail address must be provided.

Also, when it is found that the data filled in the application or in the documents submitted are incomplete or insufficient, the Data Protection Officer appointed by Globe Monnaie S.R.L. may ask the data subject to submit additional information in order to be able to analyse or resolve the request. A further period of up to 30 days may elapse from the date of provision of additional information.

If an individual submits several requests on the same issues, these are joined together and the applicant will receive a single reply referring to all the requests received. If an individual returns with a new request complaining about the same issues raised in a previous request which has already been answered, the request shall be attached to the initial one and filed without further reply to the applicant.

Where a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in particular due to its repetitive nature, Globe Monnaie S.R.L. may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs or refuse to process it.

The responses to access requests from data subjects outside Romania will be written in English.
