Ad | No drone on this trip and honestly, I never missed it. Every shot I filmed with the new Insta360 X6 from @insta360: sailing along the Algarve coast, running the cliff paths, jumping into the water and kiting. 🎥
Crazy about this cam is the Invisible Selfie Stick: the X6 records everything around it, so the stick completely disappears from the picture and the footage looks like a drone was following you, like you can see in the video. That’s how I got the rise over the cliff and view from above into the cave. As it’s waterproof down to 20 m without any housing, it came with me for the jump, the swim into the cave and for kitesurfing. 🏄♂️
The part I like most happens afterwards: I reframe the 360 footage on my phone, pick every angle I like and the AI Director does the cut with Auto Edit, no laptop, no editing session in the evening. It also works as a normal wide-angle action cam and as a gimbal cam, so it’s basically three cameras in one. If you want the third-person view without carrying a drone, this cam definitely gives you so much more possibilities! 🤩📸
