But this is exactly why I LOVE buying used. Earlier this year I bought a used Model S Plaid with FSD for around $50,000.

That same setup was over $130,000 new. Instead of being the person who ate $80K+ in depreciation, I bought AFTER somebody else already did.

I almost never buy brand-new cars for this exact reason.

Sometimes the best “deal” isn’t getting a cheaper car…It’s letting someone else pay for the expensive first few years of depreciation.
