Some of the biggest names in the stock market haven’t reached new all-time highs in years.
Even well-known companies can underperform for extended periods. A stock trading far below its previous high isn’t automatically undervalued.
Investors should focus on earnings growth, financial strength and future business prospects rather than assuming a stock will eventually return to its old peak.
