Before you invest in a property, look at the street sign. 🏡

It turns out those names weren’t picked just because they sound nice.

Getting the property is only half the deal. The other half is deciding how it’s going to cash flow.

The street it sits on can change what you’re actually able to do with it and affects how much money it could make.

A court or cul-de-sac is quiet with low traffic. Great for a long-term rental or a lease option to a family who wants to stay. But parking is usually tight, so a co-living setup with five tenants and five cars can be a problem.

A boulevard or busy main road gets more noise and traffic. Families will pass on it, so you may need to price your rent lower to fill it. This is probably not ideal for an investment.

A drive along a lake, park, or hillside can pull short-term rental demand. Just check local rules or HOA before you plan around it.

Same house, different street, different strategy.

The investors who win don’t just ask “can I get this deal?” They ask “what’s this property actually built to do?”
